Refund policy

2.1 General Returns
You may return eligible non-electrical goods within 7 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided they are unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.

2.2 14% Return Charge (Restocking Fee)
14% return charge (restocking fee) applies to all returns unless the return is due to an error by LNC Auto (e.g., wrong part delivered due to our mistake).

· The 14% fee is calculated on the original product price (excluding delivery costs).

· The original delivery fee is non-refundable.

· Return shipping costs are for the customer’s account.

2.3 Electrical Goods – NonReturnable
Electrical and electronic items are strictly nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
This includes but is not limited to: alternators, starters, sensors, ECUs, ignition coils, relays, switches, lighting modules, electric motors, or any part with electronic components.
Reason: Health, safety, and installation risk.

2.4 Return Process
To request a return:

1. Email returns@lncauto.co.za within 7 days with order number, photos (if applicable), and reason.

2. Receive RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number.

3. Securely package the item(s) with RMA visible.

4. Ship to: LNC Auto Returns, 22 Ranjie Street, Postmasburg, South Africa, 8420 (customer pays return courier unless it was our error).

2.5 Refunds (Approved Returns)
Once received and inspected (within 5 business days):

· Refund is processed minus 14% restocking fee (if applicable).

· Funds returned via original payment method within 7 business days.

· Bank charges, EFT fees, or payment gateway fees are non-refundable.

2.6 Incorrect Orders Delivered by LNC Auto (No 14% Fee)
If we send the wrong part due to our internal error, you are entitled to:

· Full refund without the 14% return charge, or

· Replacement part delivered at our cost.
We will also cover the return courier cost for that specific incorrect item.

2.7 Exclusions
No returns or refunds on:

· Electrical goods (see clause 2.3)

· Special-order parts brought in from suppliers on your request

· Clearance or “non-returnable” marked items

· Parts that have been installed, modified, or damaged by the customer

 


 

3. Cancellation Policy – LNC Auto

3.1 Before Dispatch
You may cancel an order free of charge before dispatch. Contact us immediately at orders@lncauto.co.za. A full refund will be issued (no 14% fee).

3.2 After Dispatch but Before Delivery

· Courier will be requested to return the parcel.

· Refund will be issued minus a 14% cancellation fee (based on product price) to cover handling and courier reversal costs.

· If cancellation is due to our error (e.g., wrong item dispatched), no fee applies.

3.3 After Delivery
Once delivered, the order is subject to the 7day return policy above (including 14% restocking fee unless LNC Auto error).

3.4 How to Cancel
Send an email with “CANCEL – [Order Number]” in the subject line to orders@lncauto.co.za. You will receive confirmation within 24 business hours.
